Lattice structures

The book focuses on the analysis of a shaft located inside an electromechanical actuator, used to allow the handling of landing carts in the aerospace field. This analysis was elaborated through multiple simulations, in order to define the performance of the component under the action of the workloads. The real innovative factor is the application of additive technology aimed at optimizing the geometry of the component, making it lightweight but at the same time super-performing. Another important aspect is the use of a lattice structure inside the stem considered. It is a real step forward in the production of components for various uses.
